The St. Charles County Ambulance District (SCCAD), a devoted seven-year veteran of the District, has announced the untimely death of Paramedic Taylor Bookout while she was still on active duty.
Following a valiant multi-year fight with cancer, Taylor passed away on September 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of unyielding dedication and community service.
Taylor Bookout started his adventure with SCCAD in the Training Academy, where he started the demanding path to become a paramedic. His completion of the Paramedic/EMT-P program from 2016 to 2017 demonstrated his dedication, setting a solid basis for an exceptional and compassionate career.
Taylor began working at SCCAD in November 2017 after receiving his degree. He immediately made an impression on everyone by combining professionalism and excitement in his employment. Taylor was initially assigned to the Surge Division, but his skill and commitment were noted.
